Beautifull Windy Day

I just wanted to share this beautiful experience that I had the autumn before last

I had just gotten off work, so of course I was filthy, covered in sweat, ice cream, soft drink, and candy. I would normally have gone straight home to shower, however, there was a huge storm coming. The wind was pulling me, calling to me, provoking me. I got in the car, opened the sunroof, rolled down the windows, and turned the music up. My state of filth forgotten, my soul began to soar with the wind. I drove to my favorite place, Emerald Park. When I got out of the car, the wind had become overwhelming and glorious. I walked down the winding path, through all of the beautiful trees, leaves flying all around me. I was in heaven. As I made it to the cliff, my spirit was truly one with the wind. Gray skies, thick clouds of different shapes and sizes all alive with electricity, the beautiful water below. How I wanted to fly off of that cliff! What I would have given to have wings at that moment! I was so happy and full of life, I could no longer tell the difference in my own tears of joy, and the sprinkles flying into my face. I dont know how long I stood there in the rain, it seemed like a beautiful everlasting moment in eternity. However, everything has its end, so I pulled away to make the walk back to my car. On the walk back down the path, the thick trees had obscured the heavy rain, however they were not strong enough to stop the wonderous wind. The leaves were falling and twirling in the wind all around me. All of a sudden the most amazing feeling came over me, it was as if I was seeing everything through new eyes, as if I had never experienced the luxury of earths beauty. Looking up at the trees, seeing the wind play with them in that way, I felt so amazed and grateful to be able to experience such beauty. Tears of joy streamed down my face as I lifted my hands up to catch the playful leaves. I ran and twirled around in the wind as if I were a silly little girl without a care in the world. That was my favorite nature experience of this life. ( its a good thing no one was watching, they might have had me locked up!)( And NO, I wasnt high when this happened)
